Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A vintage movie poster of ''Take Me to Town'', a Western musical film released in 1953. It was directed by Douglas Sirk and produced by Albert Zugsmith. The film combines elements of the Western and musical genres, making it a unique entry in both categories.
The story is set in a small, Old West town, where the central character, Anna Morgan (played by Ann Sheridan), is a dance hall girl. She has a young son, Will (played by Rusty Hamer), whom she's trying to raise while working in the dance hall. The townspeople look down on her profession, and she faces societal judgment and prejudice.
As the story unfolds, a charismatic stranger named Frank Matson (played by Sterling Hayden) arrives in town. He's a kind-hearted and noble rancher who becomes smitten with Anna and forms a connection with her son, Will. Frank's presence in town causes tensions to rise, as he becomes a rival for Anna's affection with another man, Link (played by Philip Reed), who is part of the dance hall...
