The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

"You'd better be good or I'll send you to Milledgeville!" was the warning that every kid hated to hear while growing up in central Georgia. Most understood that this was NOT a place you wanted to go to. The original name, “Lunatic, Idiot, and Epileptic Asylum" alone, makes me cringe. There are, indeed, rumors of mismanagement and abuse, but it is my hope that some people were actually given proper treatment and offered some compassion. For thousands of people called this place "home" over the years. Somewhere in its unhallowed halls, is a lesson on how we should (and shouldn't) treat those who suffer from mental illness.

I can't say for sure that this place is haunted, but I am certain of one thing - it has a "haunted past."

Out of respect for the people who lived here, I will donate any money that I make from sales to a homeless shelter.
