The history this old home could tell. It is from the 1800's along the now Highway 70, near Portola, California. All around the area there are old broken down shacks, shells of barns, fencing trailing along the road. All remnants of another time and space. A beautiful location with grasslands, acres of Pine Trees, flat land and rangeland that blends in to the mountain ranges. Creeks and wildlife mixed through the wilderness where farms, homes and a township may have been housing settlers along the railroad.
